a stroll through the colors of fall
In the best turn of events, my partner of 13 years has FINALLY taken in photography! He inherited a film camera, and so now I get to teach him while getting back into film photography again!
We took a photo walk (with our dogs of course) for him to learn the basics. I shot on my digital camera so I could show him what his photo could look like to help him figure out the best settings to use. I took the opportunity to experiment on my own and try to capture some photos that “felt like fall” using long exposure! I was doing a study on how to capture something that resembled an impressionist painting, and it was so much fun!
I hope to do more little photo walks in the future with more experimental photography, and stay tuned for more updates on my film journey… I might even start at home developing in the new year! 👀
