Creative Dance Portraits are BACK • cmckkphoto: NC Dance Photographer

Soooo, late BIG news since my last blog post… I’ve moved! I now live in Durham, NC to work as Graphic Designer for the American Dance Festival. It’s taken some time, but I’ve finally settled in and are jumping back into photoshoots after COVID, getting my Masters degree, and moving here.

Of course, I had to start back capturing my first passion… DANCE, and luckily my first subject was a dancer I had worked with a lot in the past year—Julia Phu!

We got together at Fews Ford at the Eno, a trail we’ve both frequented. It had recently opened back up after flooding, and was in perfect timing for the start of fall weather. There were cute cabins to move around, the river, and our favorite big rock!
